I got the Loc8tor Lite to help me locate my cat. The device worked well for the first couple of weeks, but them stopped working all together. As it turns out, the tags are not water proof. My cat dangles his tags in his water bowl when he drinks. After a couple of weeks the battery housings rusted and the tag quit working. We switched to a smaller cat bowl and a second tag for the cat, but I don't have much confidence in the system.
I think this would work for locating objects, but I wouldn't recommend it for pets. Get more detail about LOC8TOR Lite.
