I bought it as a spare. It works great with my Viper security system but the programming instruction is not helpful. Had to go to The Geek Squad at Best Buy to get it programmed.
Found an original replacement remote for my truck and works perfectly, Buying on Amazon was a steal and great deal, no scamming involved. So happy.
